A sea rescue operation has been launched after a boat was found overturned near Carnac Island south of Perth.
Emergency crews responded after an emergency beacon was activated.
The boat later sank and two people have been pulled from the water.
Their condition is not yet clear.
The beacon was activated about 10:00am today.
