A cyclist has died after being hit by a truck on the Federal Highway in New South Wales, close to the border with the Australian Capital Territory.

Emergency services were called to Sutton about 8:15am to find a male had died at the scene, NSW Police Force has confirmed.
A body was removed from the road at roughly 10:30am.
The male truck driver was taken Queanbeyan Hospital for testing, though it was not clear if he was injured.
The southbound lanes, which head towards Canberra, were closed with traffic being diverted.
Police expect traffic delays to last for several hours.
The death is the first of a cyclist on NSW roads this year, bringing the state’s total road toll to 46.
