A man in his 50s has been fatally stabbed during an altercation at a KFC restaurant in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Shortly after 8:00pm yesterday, emergency services were called to the fast food outlet on Oxford Street in Bondi Junction, following reports a man had been stabbed several times.
Another man in his 30s had also suffered stab wounds, and was arrested and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital under police guard.
Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command tried to resuscitate the older man, assisted by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however, he died at the scene.
It is unknown if the men are known to each other.
